Jen and I out for a quick lunchtime cache. This one located right in the heart of downtown Des Moines – yup right next to the state capital building. I had found this one a few days ago, which reminds me, sure enough just as I’m putting this cache back in it’s spot, I see an Iowa State po po drive up. I made a direct path to Pepe and drove away just before he got there. What is it with me and the po po?! I am like a LEO magnet! Sheeesh!

Anyway, I digress. This was a really cool cache, so I had to get Jen in on the find. The name of the cache says it all – A top level cache. We pull into the parking garage where the GPS is pointing, drive up 7 levels to the very top. Wow, what a beautiful view of downtown on one side and the capital building with monuments on the other! We were able to focus and Jen makes a quick grab for this one.

Went back to Pepe to sign the log – and as you can imagine – it’s rather tiny. I’m thinking this has got to be a nano cache – sweet! Sure enough, it is! Read all about nano cache’s at the Cacheopedia wiki.
