Adventure – Childrens Music Theatre
Grant, Jenny’s nephew was in a children’s musical yesterday, titled Horton Hears a Who, and he did such a good job! All the kids did, it was so cute! At the end of the play, adults got to join them on stage for a reprise of the main song and a game of freeze dance. All totally cool until Jen and I get back to our seats to find out we’ve been video taped! Afterwards, everyone was like “Grant, where do you want to go for breakfast?” – his resolute reply : The Machine Shed. Now cool thing about the Machine Shed, although it looks like a local “Cracker Barrel”, both the money it earns and the food they serve all benefit the local farm in that area. Use all fresh ingredients. And wait, a bonus – the largest Cinnamon Buns you’ve ever seen! Really, one cinnamon bun could feed a family of 5…..for a week! Out front they have like 5 total tractors and all kinds of farm equipment that you could actually touch and play on.
And inside, with signs and farm stuff everywhere:
So, after filling my belly to the brim with fixin’s (see, ya start talking country after eating there – it’s a side effect.) I headed out for some more geocaching!
