I was a volunteer last night at the Civic Music Association‘s presentation of John Pizzarelli at the Sheslow Auditorium on the campus of Drake University, downtown Des Moines.

His previous album has to be my favorite, with new orchestral arrangements of the classics by Frank Sinatra called “Dear Mr. Sinatra”.
